Major Responsibilities
- Perform static or dynamic stress analysis of component or equipment due to pressure, thermal, wind, seismic loading etc. using ANSYS.
- Determining natural frequency using commercial software or firmware.
- Analyzing rotor dynamic behavior using commercial software or firmware.
- Carrying out analysis in accordance with international codes and standards for order specific needs.
- Creating analysis reports including those to be submitted to client.
- Recommending design changes to construction engineers, based on findings.
- Working under full or partial guidance.
Requirement Profile
Formal Education:
Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
(Preferably Machine design, CAD/CAM)
Professional Experience
1 3 years, including 1 year on specific job
Defined Competencies
- Fundamental knowledge of structural mechanics & FEA
- Experience with ANSYS or similar FEA packages
- Knowledge of programming in C++ & JAVA (optional)
