Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Structural Fabricators for a reputed company in the UAE. Candidates should have strong knowledge in structural steel fabrication, blueprint reading, material handling, and fabrication processes. The ideal candidate must be capable of independently executing fabrication work as per engineering drawings and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret structural fabrication drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Fabricate structural steel components such as beams, columns, trusses, frames, platforms, and supports.
- Measure, mark, cut, fit, and assemble steel materials according to drawing dimensions.
- Perform grinding, drilling, gas cutting, and edge preparation activities.
- Ensure proper alignment and fit-up before welding operations.
- Operate fabrication tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Inspect fabricated parts for dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
- Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and QA/QC teams during fabrication activities.
- Follow safety procedures, workshop standards, and company regulations at all times.
- Maintain housekeeping and proper handling of materials/equipment in the fabrication yard.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication works.
- Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and structural designs.
- Good experience in cutting, fitting, and assembly of steel structures.
- Knowledge of fabrication tools, measuring instruments, and workshop machinery.
- Familiarity with gas cutting, grinding, and material preparation techniques.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Good understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Teamwork and time management skills.
Eligibility Criteria
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related trade.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural fabrication.
- Gulf experience preferred.
- Physically fit and able to work in fabrication yard/workshop environments.
