Vastu Vihar (Technoculture Building Centre Pvt. Ltd.) is looking for a Structural Engineer to analyse, design, and detail structural systems for residential and commercial building projects. You will work with the architecture, MEP, and site teams to deliver safe, economical, code-compliant structural designs and drawings.

• Carry out structural analysis and design of RCC buildings (low-rise to mid-rise) for gravity, wind, and seismic loads.
• Model and analyse structures in ETABS and STAAD Pro V8i, and interpret the results.
• Design foundations (isolated, combined, strip, raft, and pile where applicable) using SAFE and prepare the foundation design reports from CSI SAFE results.
• Design and detail beams, columns, slabs, shear walls, and staircases, using RCDC for reinforcement detailing and drawing generation.
• Prepare structural drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and design calculation reports.
• Review architectural drawings and coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and site engineers to resolve structural conflicts early.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant Indian Standards (IS 456, IS 1893, IS 875, IS 13920, IS 800, SP 34, etc.).
• Estimate quantities of concrete and steel and support value engineering to optimise material use.
• Provide technical support to the site team, respond to RFIs, and inspect structural work when required.
• Review and verify drawings and calculations prepared by junior engineers or draftsmen.
• Maintain organised project documentation and revision records.

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferred).
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in structural design of buildings

Area Requirement

• Analysis & design ETABS, STAAD Pro V8i (hands-on, project-level experience)
• Foundation design SAFE, with the ability to read and present CSI SAFE results
• Detailing RCDC for beams, columns, slabs, and footings
• Drafting Working knowledge of AutoCAD for reading and checking drawings
• Codes Strong command of IS 456, IS 1893, IS 875, IS 13920
• Office toolsMS Excel and Word for calculations and reports

• Sound understanding of structural behaviour, load paths, and seismic design principles.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to visit project sites when needed.
• Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
