The Role
Were looking for a Structural Engineer who will lead structural design, analysis, and execution support across high-impact commercial, retail, and experiential projects. This role demands strong technical expertise, design rigor, and close collaboration with architectural, MEP, and execution teams to deliver safe, efficient, and buildable structural solutions.
You will be responsible for translating architectural intent into structurally sound systems, ensuring compliance with codes, optimizing designs for cost and constructability, and supporting seamless on-ground execution. Your mission is to ensure structural integrity, safety, efficiency, and timely project delivery across all assigned projects.
What Youll Own
- Structural Design & Engineering
Lead end-to-end structural design from concept to execution.
Develop structural schemes aligned with architectural concepts and functional requirements.
Perform structural analysis and design for RCC, steel, and composite structures.
Select appropriate structural systems, materials, and construction methodologies.
Ensure designs meet safety, performance, and durability standards.
- Technical Analysis & Documentation
Prepare and review detailed structural drawings, calculations, and design reports.
Ensure accuracy, clarity, and constructability of drawings and specifications.
Develop BOQs, structural specifications, and tender documentation.
Review shop drawings and method statements from contractors.
Ensure compliance with Indian codes (IS codes), local regulations, and project standards.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate closely with architects, MEP consultants, and execution teams.
Resolve design clashes and integration issues proactively.
Provide technical inputs during design development and execution stages.
Support value engineering exercises without compromising safety or performance.
- Site Support & Execution Oversight
Conduct site visits to review structural execution and quality.
Address site-level structural queries and deviations.
Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and safety norms.
Support timely resolution of on-site structural challenges.
- Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary structural point of contact for assigned projects.
Present structural concepts, design rationale, and technical clarifications to clients.
Manage revisions and feedback while safeguarding design intent and safety.
Build client confidence through technically sound and practical solutions.
- Quality Control & Design Governance
Review outputs prepared by junior engineers and design teams.
Maintain consistency in structural standards, detailing, and documentation.
Ensure adherence to internal processes and quality benchmarks.
Drive continuous improvement in structural design workflows.
- Team Collaboration & Mentorship
Guide and support junior engineers and interns.
Coordinate effectively across internal and external teams.
Contribute to building scalable and efficient structural design processes.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Stay updated on emerging materials, construction technologies, and best practices.
Introduce efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective structural solutions.
Support optimization and constructability-driven design thinking.
What Were Looking For
MTech in Structural Engineering (mandatory).
4+ years of experience in structural design and execution support.
Strong experience in commercial, retail, or large-scale building projects.
Proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
Strong understanding of RCC, steel structures, and construction methodologies.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
High ownership mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working in fast-paced or startup environments.
Exposure to retail, experiential, or high-footfall projects.
Familiarity with sustainable and optimized structural design practices
Prior experience guiding or mentoring junior engineers.
Tools Youll Use
Design & Analysis: ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, SAP2000
Drafting & Coordination: AutoCAD, Revit (Structure preferred)
Documentation & Collaboration: Google Workspace, Notion
Project Coordination: Excel, project tracking tools
Presentations: PowerPoint / Google Slides
