Structural Draftsman (1-3 yrs of experience)

Role Description

We are hiring a full-time Structure Draftsman for our office located in Chennai. The Structure Draftsman will prepare detailed technical and structural drawings, collaborate with engineers and designers to convert concepts into workable plans, and ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards. The role will also involve interpreting structural designs, managing project documentation, and assisting in maintaining quality control of drafted designs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software relevant to structural drafting.
• Familiarity with structural standards, design specifications, and codes related to civil engineering projects involving Metro, Railways and Bridges.
• Strong skills in technical detailing, drawings preparation, and interpretation of structural designs and blueprints.
• Commitment to precision, accuracy, and maintaining quality in all drafting-related tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an office environment as well as independently on assigned tasks.
• Educational qualification in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field; diploma or certification in structural drafting is preferred.
• Basic understanding of project management principles; experience in construction industry is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication abilities.
