Role Description (Key Responsibilities)
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, and erection drawings for structural steel and PEB projects.
- Develop detailed structural steel shop drawings using CAD software.
- Prepare Anchor Bolt Plans (ABP), connection details, Bills of Materials (BOM), and material take-offs.
- Coordinate with design engineers, project managers, fabrication teams, and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review and revise drawings based on engineering comments, project requirements, and site feedback.
- Ensure drawing accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications and schedules.
- Maintain drawing records, revision logs, and document control procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Civil / Mechanical engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in structural detailing.
- Experience in PEB and structural steel detailing for industrial buildings, warehouses, or similar projects is preferred. Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in CAD software for structural and PEB detailing (2D and/or 3D modeling).
- Basic understanding of structural steel and PEB components, including framing systems, connections, fabrication, and erection practices.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, and structural drawings and convert them into accurate shop and erection drawings.
- Experience in preparing Bills of Materials (BOM), cutting lists, and other fabrication-related documentation will be an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in drafting and self-checking of drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, project teams, fabrication shops, and site personnel.
