Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Structural Designer with strong expertise in Tekla Structures to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed structural models, drawings, and fabrication documents for steel and concrete structures. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Tekla modelling and a solid understanding of structural design principles.

Key Responsibilities

Create 3D structural models using Tekla Structures as per project specifications.

Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, GA drawings, erection drawings, and shop drawings.

Coordinate with structural engineers to understand design intent and resolve modelling issues.

Review and ensure accuracy of models and drawings before submission.

Generate reports such as BOQ, bolt lists, material lists, and CNC files.

Perform clash detection and resolve discrepancies in the model.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders for smooth project execution.

Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

34 years of hands-on experience in Tekla Structures (steel and/or concrete).

Strong knowledge of structural detailing standards (AISC/BIS/BS/Eurocode).

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Experience in creating fabrication and erection drawings.

Understanding of structural components such as beams, columns, trusses, connections, etc.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil or Structural Engineering (preferred).

Added Advantages (Good to Have)

Experience with Tekla custom components.

Familiarity with BIM workflows.

Knowledge of AutoCAD or other structural drafting tools.

Experience working with international codes and projects.
