Structural Designer

We are looking for a passionate structural designer who enjoys turning complex engineering concepts into precise, buildable models and drawings. You will work closely with engineers and the projects team to deliver high -quality structural models in Tekla Structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 3D structural models in Tekla Structures (steel and/or concrete)
• Prepare GA drawings, fabrication/shop drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings and coordinate with engineers and architects
• Detect clashes and resolve design conflicts through model coordination
• Ensure designs meet applicable codes and project specifications
• Manage drawing revisions, document control, and timely deliverables
• Support site and fabrication teams with technical clarifications
• Contribute to improving design standards, templates, and workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architecture
• 4+ years of relevant experience, with strong hands-on Tekla Structures expertise
• Solid understanding of structural systems, connections, and detailing practices
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit, STAAD.Pro, or ETABS is a plus
• Strong eye for detail, accuracy, and problem-solving
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Good to Have

• Experience with BIM coordination (Navisworks or similar)
• Exposure to Tekla custom components or macros
• Experience with industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects
