Job Title: Structural Designer Onshore (Oil & Gas)

Job Description:
The Structural Designer will be responsible for preparing and developing detailed 2D and 3D structural drawings and models for onshore Oil & Gas projects. The role requires strong design and drafting experience using CADWorx and AutoCAD, with an in-depth understanding of structural design principles, project specifications, and construction requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and develop structural design drawings and 3D models using CADWorx and AutoCAD.
Support engineering and project teams in developing layouts, general arrangements, and detailed fabrication drawings.
Coordinate with civil, mechanical, piping, and architectural teams to ensure design consistency and integration.
Review and interpret engineering inputs, specifications, and standards.
Perform design updates, revisions, and modifications based on engineering and client feedback.
Ensure drawings comply with project standards, codes, and client specifications.
Manage and maintain drawing registers, file organization, and revision control.
Assist in material take-offs (MTO) and other deliverables as required.
Participate in design reviews and resolve technical drawing issues.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 15-20 years of experience in onshore Oil & Gas structural design.
Strong proficiency in CADWorx and AutoCAD.
Good understanding of international design codes and standards (AISC, IS, BS, etc.).
Familiarity with fabrication and construction requirements.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Preferred:
Experience working with EPC companies or large-scale onshore Oil & Gas projects.
Knowledge of other design tools (e.g., Navisworks, SmartPlant) will be an advantage.
