Job Description: Senior Structural Design Engineer

Job Summary:
Will be responsible for designing and analyzing various civil and structural systems, contributing to the development of innovative, safe, and cost-effective solutions for our clients. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure structural designs meet project requirements and adhere to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Analysis:
- Perform structural design and analysis of buildings, bridges, foundations, and other civil structures using software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
- Design steel and concrete structures while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, ACI, BS, IS Codes).
- Prepare detailed design calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications for construction.
- Project Collaboration:
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineers to integrate structural requirements into overall design plans.
- Participate in design reviews, providing technical expertise and innovative solutions to meet client requirements.
- Work with contractors during construction to resolve any design-related issues or deviations.
- Site Visits and Inspections:
- Conduct site inspections to assess conditions, verify designs, and provide feedback during the construction phase.
- Ensure that construction aligns with design intent and meets safety standards and regulations.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Produce technical reports, design documentation, and drawings for submission to clients and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure all design outputs are clear, concise, and compliant with statutory requirements.
- Sustainability and Innovation:
- Incorporate sustainable practices into design projects by optimizing material use and minimizing environmental impact.
- Stay current with industry developments, new technologies, and materials to enhance design solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, Revit, AutoCAD).
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, Indian design codes, and regulations (Eurocodes, AISC, ACI, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
