Role Description
- Perform structural analysis and design of steel structures as per project requirements.
- Prepare detailed structural design calculations and technical reports.
- Design industrial structures in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Work on steel structures including PEB buildings, crane systems, mezzanine floors, and pipe racks.
- Use structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro/ MBS for modelling and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with IS codes, IS 800, AISC, MBMA, and applicable loading standards.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Coordinate with sales and detailing teams for accurate preparation of GA and structural drawings.
- Participate in technical discussions with internal teams and clients when required.
- Optimise structural designs for safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare BOQ inputs and assist in estimation related to structural components.
- Maintain proper documentation of calculations, revisions, and design approvals.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/ Master's in Civil, Structural is required.
- Experience: minimum 1 year as a Structural Design Engineer(PEB) only.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and Structural Engineering principles.
- Strong background in Civil Engineering concepts and design methodologies
- Experience with STAAD PRO and MBS.
- Good understanding of building codes and construction standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and manage projects within deadlines
