Structural Design Engineer

• Vacancy: Structural Design Engineer - Elevated metro viaduct
• Education : B. E Civil / M Tech Structural Engineer
• Experience: 5 to 8 years
• Job Location: Thane

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed structural design for elevated metro rail viaducts including:
• I-girder, box girder, steel truss, and steel composite spans
• Design substructure and foundations:
• Pier caps, piers, portals, piles, and open footings
• Prepare Design Basis Reports (DBR), detailed design calculations, and sketches
• Coordinate with CAD engineers to develop detailed drawings
• Attend client design review meetings and obtain approvals for GFC drawings
• Ensure compliance with latest metro rail design standards and codes
• Deliver high-quality, safe, and cost-effective designs within timelines
• Understand working in EPC environment value engineering, faster design, time and cost consciousness

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in STAAD, ADSEC, and MIDAS
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles
• Expertise in metro rail and bridge design codes and standards
