Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Strings Teacher. The Strings Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality, online music lessons on a flexible schedule. Primary tasks include teaching violin, Ukulele, Guitar and cello techniques, guiding students in orchestral and solo performances, and nurturing their musical growth. The teacher will also collaborate with the school's team to ensure that lessons align with the established curriculum and provide personalized support to students to help achieve their musical goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in playing and teaching Ukulele and Violin
• Strong foundation in Music Education and teaching methods
• Experience with Orchestral Music and solo performance practices
• Ability to inspire and engage students of varying skill levels
• Excellent communication and online teaching skills
• Flexibility to adapt teaching techniques to individual student needs
• Bachelor's degree in Music or related field preferred
• Prior experience teaching students in an online or digital format is a plus
