Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Business Strategy & Planning

  • Lead the annual and long-range strategic planning process aligned with the organization's vision and mission.
  • Conduct macro-environmental analysis using PESTLE, Porter's Five Forces, SWOT/TOWS, and industry benchmarking.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies, competitive positioning, and business growth roadmaps.
  • Facilitate strategy workshops with senior leadership and translate objectives into actionable plans.
  • Monitor strategic initiative execution and present insights through dashboards and leadership reports.

B. Performance Management System (KPI & KRA)

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve the organization-wide Performance Management System.
  • Define and cascade KPIs and KRAs across business units, departments, teams, and individual contributors.
  • Establish performance review cycles (quarterly, bi-annual, annual) aligned with strategic milestones.
  • Collaborate with HR to integrate PMS with appraisal, rewards, and talent development processes.
  • Build PMS dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and continuous performance improvement.

C. Frameworks Application & Governance

  • Apply and govern strategy and performance frameworks including:
  • Balanced Scorecard (BSC) – Financial, Customer, Internal Process, and Learning perspectives
  • OKR (Objectives & Key Results) – Company, departmental, and individual OKRs
  • MBO (Management by Objectives) – Goal-setting and appraisal integration
  • Hoshin Kanri (Policy Deployment) for strategy execution alignment
  • Six Sigma / Lean / DMAIC for process excellence and performance gap closure
  • Customize frameworks to organizational maturity levels and sector-specific requirements.
  • Benchmark performance against industry standards, global best practices, and competitor data.

D. Stakeholder Reporting & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Prepare Board-level and CXO-level strategy decks, performance reports, and presentations.
  • Align departmental OKRs/KPIs with enterprise-wide strategic objectives.
  • Partner with Finance, HR, Operations, Sales, and Marketing for integrated performance planning.
  • Present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and confidence.
