Job Description

Job title: Executive Analyst – AI & Insights

Department: CEO's Office

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 3–6 years

About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, AI-fluent analyst to work directly with our CEO. You will turn raw data and scattered information into clear, decision-ready insights, using AI tools as a force multiplier. You will run and refine AI-driven reporting, analyze business performance, and follow up on the CEO's priorities across teams. This is a high-visibility role for someone who combines analytical rigor, business judgment, and hands-on AI skills.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Driven Reporting and Analysis

  • Design, write, and refine prompts and workflows using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to generate reports, summaries, and analyses
  • Build repeatable AI-assisted reporting routines (weekly/monthly dashboards, business reviews, market scans)
  • Validate AI outputs for accuracy, catching errors, hallucinations, and weak reasoning before anything reaches the CEO
  • Evaluate new AI tools and recommend where they can improve the CEO office's productivity

Business and Data Analysis

  • Analyze data across sales, finance, operations, and customer metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Prepare concise briefing notes, executive summaries, and presentations that lead with the so what
  • Support ad hoc business analyses such as performance deep-dives, competitor benchmarking, and scenario analysis

Executive Follow-Up and Coordination

  • Track CEO action items, decisions, and commitments from meetings, and follow up with function heads
  • Monitor progress on strategic initiatives and flag delays, dependencies, and risks early
  • Prepare the CEO for meetings, board discussions, and investor or stakeholder interactions with relevant data and context
  • Act as a trusted liaison between the CEO and leadership teams

Confidentiality and Governance

  • Handle sensitive business data with discretion
  • Follow company policies on data security and responsible AI use

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus)
  • 3–6 years in business analysis, strategy, consulting, chief-of-staff, or analytics roles
  • Demonstrated hands-on use of generative AI tools in real work, with strong prompt-writing skills and an understanding of their limitations
  • Strong data skills: advanced Excel/Google Sheets, plus experience with a BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
  • Ability to interpret data and turn it into clear, business-relevant recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to brief senior leaders concisely
  • High ownership, discretion, and comfort working with senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python
  • Experience with automation or no-code tools (Zapier, Power Automate, Make)
  • Experience building AI-assisted workflows, GPTs, or custom assistants
  • Exposure to a startup, consulting, or founder's-office environment
