Job Overview: We arelooking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Strategic Sourcing Lead to support global procurement and sourcing initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of components and materials while maintaining high quality and compliance standards. The Strategic Sourcing Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing, to drive efficiency and innovation in sourcing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize supply chain efficiency and cost savings.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to enhance supplier network.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to assess supplier capabilities, industry trends, and cost structures.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure best-value procurement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.
- Support localization and sustainability initiatives to align with company goals.
- Maintain accurate sourcing data and reporting in ERP and procurement systems.
Requirements Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in supplier evaluation, contract management, and cost analysis.
- Familiarity with global sourcing, procurement regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
