As the Strategic Sourcing Head at MachineMaze, you will play a mission-critical role in revolutionizing the supply chain of our innovative MaaS (Manufacturing as a Service) platform. Your leadership will directly impact cost efficiency, supplier performance, and product delivery timelines across multi-continental operations. You will be instrumental in building a robust, agile, and high-performing sourcing function that drives value creation and supports our rapid global scale-up.

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Development:

Lead end-to-end supplier identification, onboarding, performance evaluation, and rationalization.

Implement Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) practices to build long-term, strategic partnerships.

Identify alternate sourcing opportunities through spend analysis and market benchmarking.

Cost & Contract Optimization:

Apply Zero-Based Costing (ZBC) and negotiate best-in-class commercial terms.

Manage contract finalizations, pricing models, and procurement compliance governance.

Operational Excellence:

Drive cost-saving strategies through localization, volume optimization, and supplier consolidation.

Standardize sourcing processes for scalability and transparency.

Cross-Functional Engagement:

Collaborate with Project Managers, Key Account Managers, and internal stakeholders to align sourcing with project goals and timelines.

Commodity Category Expertise:

Lead sourcing for a wide range of commodities including: Sheet Metal, Fabrication, Forging, Casting, Injection/Compression Moulding, Machined and Bought-out Components, Induction Motors, Control Panels, Auxiliaries.

Strategic thinker with a hands-on execution style

High commercial acumen and strong cost orientation

Agility in navigating complex supplier ecosystems and rapidly changing project priorities

Collaborative leader who builds trust and drives results across cross-functional teams

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. Mandatory)

Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience in sourcing/supply chain within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial domains

Industry exposure to General Engineering, Automotive, Mechatronics, Capital Equipment, Aerospace, or Defense sectors
