Job Description

  • Lead Strategic Sourcing + Procurement across Automotive Electronics Products

Job Description

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for electronic components within the automotive industry.
  • Identify and onboard reliable suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms to optimise cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with organisational goals.
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to adapt sourcing strategies.
  • Manage supplier relationships and resolve any supply chain disruptions effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
  • Regularly review and analyse procurement data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Strategic Sourcing/Procurement-Electronics professional should have:

  • A strong educational background in supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.
  • 15-20 years of overall Experience in Procurement and Sourcing within the electronics segment of the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in Supplier Negotiations and Contract Management.
  • Familiarity with market trends and industry standards for electronic components.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
