About this opportunity:
Ericsson is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the role of Strategic Sourcing Manager. In this exciting opportunity, you will contribute significantly to our business by developing fruitful supplier and partner relationships, focusing on customer, stakeholder, and business needs. As the incumbent, you will oversee and negotiate supplier/partner agreements for external procurement and licensing of products and services. Furthermore, you will manage these relationships, driving business contribution, maintaining high performance standards, and effectively managing risks, with full responsibility for commercial agreements.
What you will do:
- Drive supplier qualification, contract negotiation for contingent workforce (CFW)
- Lead strategic sourcing activities for a category or regional scope
- Lead, prepare, and execute RFx and bidding processes
- Implement risk management and cost-reduction plans
- Ensure full compliance with internal controls, local regulations, and ethical standards
- Strengthening stakeholder and supplier partnerships; collaborating with stakeholders on P2P and sourcing processes.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years experience in sourcing / procurement
- Negotiation & Contract Skills
- Risk & compliance mindset
- Financial acumen and Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint
- Good communications skills- both written and spoken English
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional environment.
Good to have skills:
- Internal sourcing processes knowledge
- Category (ARP)-specific knowledge
- Awareness of use of AI for sourcing
- Skills in using IT tools such as Ariba, SAP, etc.
