Strategic Sourcing Engineer (Role: Commodity Manager)

COMPANY : Mahindra & Mahindra

LOCATION: Mumbai

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Supplier Selection, Supplier basket creation & Price settlement of Proprietory parts, special emphasis on Glasses, SCR Tank, SCR Filler Pipes, Plastic Injection Molding Parts like Interior trim parts etc.

2) Ongoing Price reduction / Value engineering / V3 Project using various sourcing & Savings levers

3) Price Containment, RM Cost budgeting , RM Indexing on Periodic Basis

4) Supplier Risk Management & Mitigation (Incl. Safety audits, ESG Audits)

5) Capacity Creation for Bottleneck Parts & Suppliers

6) Data Analytics & Benchmarking for New Technology & Cost Discovery

7) SAP knowledge is must.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE:

1) Has hands-on- experience in the Automotive Industry.

3) Experience of managing commodity.
