Strategic SEO Head - Remote

Role Overview

We are looking to hire a Strategic SEO Head to lead and scale our SEO function with strong business impact. This role goes beyond traffic and rankingsit requires revenue-focused thinking, structured strategy ownership, and confident leadership presence.

This is a critical leadership hire aimed at transforming SEO from strong execution into a scalable, growth-driven function aligned with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Business Leadership

Own the end-to-end SEO vision, strategy, and roadmap (quarterly & annual).

Align SEO initiatives with revenue growth, pipeline impact, retention, and production efficiency.

Move SEO conversations from execution metrics to business outcomes.

Identify growth levers across organic acquisition, expansion, and long-term scalability.

Execution & Problem Solving

Maintain strong hands-on understanding of SEO fundamentals and execution.

Independently diagnose complex performance drops, scaling challenges, and structural issues.

Proactively introduce new SEO initiatives, frameworks, and experiments.

Balance long-term strategy with short-term performance optimization.

AI-Driven & Modern SEO

Drive adoption of AI tools, automation, and modern SEO workflows.

Improve productivity, forecasting, and scalability through intelligent systems.

Stay ahead of algorithm changes and evolving search behavior.

Team Leadership & Management

Lead and manage large SEO teams (3040 members) across multiple functions.

Set clear goals, accountability structures, and performance benchmarks.

Mentor senior managers and develop future leaders within the team.

Build a culture of ownership, clarity, and execution excellence.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

Confidently present SEO strategy, performance, and roadmaps in leadership forums.

Bring clarity, structure, and conviction to discussions and decision-making.

Act as the face of SEO in internal leadership conversations and client interactions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Should be Comfortable to work in UK-shift (3:00 pm to 12 am).

1015 years of hands-on SEO experience, with exposure to large-scale operations.

Strong foundation in ground-level SEO execution (technical, content, authority, growth).

Proven experience managing large teams (3040 members).

Agency background preferred, with experience handling multiple clients and scale.

Prior experience working with US-based clients and markets.

Demonstrated ability to think strategically, commercially, and proactively.
