As we expand across India and globally, we're looking for a dynamic Strategic Sales Manager to own and drive growth in Mumbai.

Why This Role MattersAs the Strategic Sales Manager Mumbai, you won't just be selling; you'll be representing Nexus Consulting in one of India's most critical markets. You will act as the face of Nexus, building and nurturing relationships that help organizations engage, learn, and connect through our innovative quiz formats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Ownership: Be the face of Nexus in the Mumbai region. Build the brand's presence across corporate, media, government, and other sectors. Represent Nexus at key events, forums, and industry groups.
  • Strategic Growth: Design and execute sales strategies to help Nexus grow its footprint across all relevant sectors. Target high-impact opportunities that align with the company's growth goals.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders (CXOs, HR Heads, CMOs, etc.). Ensure that Nexus is seen as a strategic partner rather than just a service provider.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand client needs deeply and craft tailored engagement solutions. Drive the entire sales cyclefrom prospecting to pitch to final negotiationswith a consultative mindset.
  • Account Leadership: Own key accounts and ensure ongoing satisfaction, renewals, and expansion opportunities. Be the single point of contact for strategic accounts in the region.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends. Share actionable market insights with internal teams to shape product offerings and strategic moves.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (content, delivery, marketing) to ensure seamless project execution and client delight. Mentor junior sales team members and set high standards.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 68 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in corporate events, employee engagement, marketing solutions, or related sectors.
  • Proven ability to own client relationships end-to-end and close complex, high-value deals.
  • Strong network within HR, Marketing, and Corporate Leadership circles in Mumbai.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly strategic, self-driven, and comfortable representing a brand independently in the market.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
