Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in sales, partner management, or business development in the consumer electronics, smartphone, or a related industry.
- Experience working with distributors and retailers in the Indian market.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree, MBA, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in the mobile industry, working with mobile devices, operators, or distributors.
- Experience managing business channels, launching products, and achieving growth goals, with an understanding of the business process, from planning to execution.
- Experience with partner development, relationship management, and negotiating agreements.
- Ability to plan and manage at operational levels in a fluid environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills along with business judgment.

As the Strategic Partner Manager, Offline Channel, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our Pixel business and ecosystem products across key offline partners. You will be leading our business through select offline channel partners in India. You will partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, product, finance, and legal teams to execute on our go-to-market strategy and achieve our business goals.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive distribution strategy to drive Pixel business growth. Manage and grow relationships with select retail and distribution partners, acting as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
- Conduct business planning, forecasting for sell-in and sell-out, and hold regular performance reviews with partners to ensure goals are met. Act as a sales coach to the partner teams, representing the best of Google's products and values to grow the business.
- Develop points of view on channel selection and expansion to drive further Pixel growth across India.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to build and execute a cohesive growth plan, including negotiating commercial terms and identifying new partnership opportunities.
