Role Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Writer & Influence Architect to translate Allied's and Bloor's digital transformation thesis into influential, high-impact content. This role bridges deep research and commercial storytelling turning insights into narratives that shape industry opinion, attract clients, and reinforce Allied's market authority.

You will collaborate with leadership, analysts, and sales teams to produce intelligent, persuasive content that speaks to buyers, policymakers, academics, and influencers across the technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Influence & Narrative Development

  • Create written thought pieces, blogs, and commentaries positioning Allied and Bloor as authorities on the Digital Revolution and the generative economy.
  • Connect macroeconomic, AI, and workforce transformation themes into compelling stories that open commercial conversations.
  • Produce differentiated content that challenges competitor positions and reinforces Allied's unique value propositions.

Market & Academic Engagement

  • Build and maintain a database of target readers, influencers, and institutions.
  • Contribute to academic and policy discussions through articles, presentations, and partnerships.
  • Track and respond to competitor thought leadership, ensuring Allied's voice stays visible and distinct.

Commercial Alignment

  • Develop content that supports sales outreach and buyer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to generate qualified leads through written material.
  • Align writing with Allied's delivery model transforming human as employee service enterprise.

Performance Indicators

  • 46 high-quality content outputs per month (blogs, posts, or outreach assets).
  • Buyer conversations or lead-generation activities initiated through content.
  • Quarterly publication of one policy or investor-focused paper.
  • Demonstrated market traction through reposts, citations, or engagement metrics.

Skills & Experience

  • 610 years of experience in strategic or analytical writing, journalism, consulting, or thought leadership.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology, digital transformation, or macroeconomic themes.
  • Proven ability to write with authority and adapt tone for multiple audiences (executives, analysts, academics).
  • Research-driven thinker with editorial precision and a sharp sense of positioning.
  • Excellent collaboration skills across research, sales, and marketing teams.

Preferred Background

  • Experience with consulting firms, technology research organisations, or enterprise service providers.
  • Prior exposure to thought leadership, corporate communications, or content strategy functions.
  • A degree in Economics, Communications, or related fields; postgraduate credentials preferred.
