Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Account Manager with a proven track record in managing strategic staffing accounts, driving client engagement, and delivering recruitment outcomes within defined timelines. The individual will be responsible for taking complete ownership of the client account, activating hiring demand, strengthening client relationships, driving delivery performance, and generating measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in Cloud, AI/ML, Data Analytics, and niche technology hiring, with preference given to professionals who have managed Google AI-related requirements through System Integrator (SI) partners, consulting organizations, or enterprise staffing environments.

This is a high-ownership role requiring an individual who can operate independently from day one, influence client stakeholders, mobilize recruitment teams, and drive account growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Ownership

• Take complete ownership of the client account, including client engagement, requirement gathering, delivery governance, opportunity tracking, and business growth.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all account-related discussions and escalations.

• Drive account strategy, hiring plans, delivery reviews, and stakeholder communication.

Client Relationship Management

• Leverage existing relationships with client stakeholders and decision-makers to re-establish engagement and activate hiring opportunities.

• Build strong relationships across procurement, hiring managers, delivery teams, and business stakeholders.

• Conduct regular account reviews to understand hiring priorities, workforce planning, and future opportunities.

• Identify opportunities to expand engagement within the client ecosystem.

Recruitment Delivery Leadership

• Align recruiters to active requirements and ensure a clear understanding of client expectations, hiring standards, submission formats, and turnaround timelines.

• Drive recruitment delivery across Cloud, AI/ML, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Generative AI, Google AI, and niche technology requirements.

• Ensure recruiter productivity, submission quality, interview conversion, and closure ratios.

• Monitor delivery performance and implement corrective actions when required.

Account Activation & Business Outcomes

• Generate active requirement flow and delivery momentum within the first two weeks of joining.

• Ensure candidate submissions, client follow-ups, shortlist generation, and interview scheduling are initiated immediately.

• Drive client interviews beginning from Week 3 and maintain momentum toward closures.

• Track and report account performance through measurable recruitment metrics and business outcomes.

Business Development & Account Expansion

• Identify opportunities to open new accounts and generate additional business.

• Expand relationships within existing client organizations to increase hiring volumes and service offerings.

• Collaborate with leadership teams to build strategic account growth plans.

• Support empanelment-to-revenue conversion initiatives.

Technology Hiring Expertise

The candidate should possess strong experience hiring for:

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Artificial Intelligence (AI)

• Generative AI

• Gemini-related technologies and talent

• Machine Learning (ML)

• Data Analytics

• Data Engineering

• Cloud Architecture

• MLOps

• Advanced Digital Transformation skill sets

Required Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Staffing, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, Account Management, or Delivery Management.

• Demonstrated experience managing strategic staffing accounts.

• Proven success in converting client relationships into active hiring opportunities.

• Experience managing Cloud, AI/ML, Data Analytics, and niche technology hiring requirements.

• Experience working with System Integrators (SIs), enterprise clients, consulting firms, or large IT services organizations.

• Google AI or Google Cloud hiring exposure through any SI partner is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of recruitment delivery operations and account governance.

Education

Bachelor's Degree required.

MBA or Postgraduate qualification preferred.
