We're looking for a Storyboard Artist who can turn complex B2B/SaaS ideas into clear, visually engaging video concepts. In this role, you'll own the visual thinking behind our videos, creating high-fidelity digital storyboards (not sketches) that guide our motion team from idea to final animation. If you enjoy simplifying software, shaping narratives, and designing clean, modern visuals, this 100% remote role is for you.
THIS IS NOT A SKETCHING ROLE.
We're only looking for polished, vector-based storyboards/styleframes (Figma/Illustrator).
Core Responsibilities
- Creative Direction & Storyboarding: Conceptualize visual narratives and design high-fidelity vector storyboards/styleframes for explainers, product walkthroughs, and video ads.
- UI/UX Visual Translation: Abstract and simplify complex software UI/dashboards into clean, modern, and aesthetically pleasing video assets.
- Design Collaboration: Guide and oversee the motion design team to ensure the final animation strictly matches your approved storyboards and art direction.
- Secondary Asset Design: Occasionally direct or support the creation of supporting marketing collateral (Ad creatives, web graphics, presentations).
- Brand Compliance & Quality Control: Maintain absolute attention to detail regarding brand guidelines, typography, spelling, and asset optimization before final delivery to clients.
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in creative design, motion graphics direction, or visual scripting for B2B/SaaS brands.
- Design Aesthetic: Deep familiarity with modern, minimalist design trends (e.g., modern UX elements, frosted glass UI, clean typography).
- Software Expertise: Mastery of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop). Working knowledge of After Effects is required to properly hand off assets to animators.
- Communication: Strong conceptualization, research, and reading skills to translate complex technical copy into clear visual stories.
- High attention to detail regarding technical guidelines, layout accuracy, and narrative flow.
