We are looking for a Story Writer & Content Writer who can think beyond ordinary content and turn ideas, products, services and brand messages into stories people actually want to watch and remember.
About the Role
This is not a traditional blog-writing role.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop strong storytelling concepts and scripts for short-form video content, especially Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
You will work across different industries and should be comfortable understanding a new brand, its audience, tone and objectives and then developing content specifically for that brand.
You will also contribute to website content, social media copy, creative campaigns and other written communication.
What You Will Do
- Write engaging scripts for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Develop storytelling concepts, hooks and creative angles for different brands.
- Convert simple ideas, products or services into engaging stories.
- Write short-form video scripts with strong openings, flow, emotion and CTAs.
- Develop brand stories and campaign concepts.
- Write social media captions, poster copy and creative content.
- Develop website content, service descriptions and brand communication.
- Research different industries, audiences, competitors and content trends.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into creative content.
- Adapt writing style according to different brands and target audiences.
- Work closely with the creative, production, editing and social media teams.
- Rewrite and improve scripts based on creative feedback.
- Maintain consistency in brand voice and communication.
- Bring new content ideas instead of depending only on existing formats.
What We Are Looking For
- 1+ years of relevant experience in content writing, script writing, creative writing, advertising, media or a similar field.
- Strong storytelling and script-writing ability.
- Excellent understanding of short-form video content.
- Ability to write strong hooks and audience-focused scripts.
- Good command of English.
- Strong research and observation skills.
- Ability to understand different industries quickly.
- Ability to write in different tones and formats.
- Strong creative thinking and idea generation.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects.
- Portfolio of scripts, campaigns, social media content or other relevant work is strongly preferred.
