Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Store Manager to lead our inventory and warehouse operations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end store function—from receiving raw plastic granules & bought out automotive components. Your goal is to ensure 100% inventory accuracy and zero production downtime due to material shortages.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Control: Maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials (polymers), spare parts, and finished goods using ABC analysis.
- Material Handling: Manage inward and outward material entries, including GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and issue slips, ensuring all transactions are recorded in the ERP system/SAP.
- Operational Excellence: Implement and strictly follow FIFO/FEFO systems for shelf-life sensitive parts and raw materials.
- Production Coordination: Work closely with the Production and Purchase departments to forecast requirements and prevent line stoppages.
- Audit & Compliance: Conduct regular physical stock verifications and maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Dispatch Management: Oversee the loading/unloading of containers and ensure timely dispatch of automotive parts to OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related technical field (BE/Diploma in Mechanical/Plastic preferred).
- Experience: –10 years in store management within a plastic injection moulding or core manufacturing unit.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP/SAP applications and Advanced Excel.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills to manage manpower and vendor relationships.
