About Astrobase Space Technologies
Astrobase is a pioneering spacetech startup founded by prominent Senior ISRO scientists and IIT Bombay alumni with over 20 years of experience in designing, manufacturing, testing and flying advanced Cryogenic Launch Vehicles. Driven by a vision to make India a Space tech powerhouse, we are developing innovative launch vehicles that will transform space exploration. Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end factory stores operations, including receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all inward materials against Purchase Orders and outward issues to Manufacturing, Assembly, and Test teams.
- Conduct physical inventory verification regularly to validate and baseline the count.
- Maintain real-time inventory records, stock visibility, and timely identification of shortages or excess.
- Implement and enforce stores processes, material traceability, and best practices to support manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate closely with Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to ensure smooth material flow and process compliance.
Desired Skills And Qualifications
- 3–4 years of prior experience in factory stores, warehouse, or inventory management roles.
- Good understanding of industrial items, raw materials, consumables, and spares used in manufacturing environments.
- Inventory accuracy (% match between system and physical stock).
- Reduction in missing / untraceable items.
- Turnaround time for material issue to manufacturing teams.
- Compliance with inward–outward documentation processes.
- Timely identification and reporting of stock shortages or excess inventory.
