Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Store Operations Management:

  • Handle daily store activities including receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.

Inventory & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate stock records, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), issue registers, and related MIS reports.

Chemical Storage Compliance:

  • Ensure safe storage and handling of chemicals in line with company and statutory guidelines.

Inventory Control & Audits:

  • Implement FIFO/FEFO practices and conduct regular physical stock audits.

Interdepartmental Coordination:

  • Work closely with procurement, production, and accounts teams to ensure timely flow of materials.

Stock Monitoring & Replenishment:

  • Track inventory levels and initiate replenishment to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.

MIS Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, stock consumption, and material movement.

Safety & Housekeeping:

  • Monitor store area hygiene and ensure safety measures are adhered to consistently.

Key Requirements:

  • Graduate or Diploma in any discipline (Materials Management preferred)
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in stores or warehouse management
  • Experience in the chemical industry is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of inventory systems and tools such as ERP, SAP, or Tally
  • Familiarity with chemical handling and safety norms
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and coordination skills
