About Our Client
Our client is a leading supplier of mining equipment and spare parts, supporting mining operations across Australia and internationally. Operating from their Wattle Grove warehouse, they maintain a large inventory of critical components and are committed to providing efficient warehousing, distribution, and logistical support to the mining industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable Storeperson/Forklift Operator seeking ongoing work within a well-established and safety-focused warehouse environment.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations through the safe movement, storage, and dispatch of mining spare parts and materials. The role will involve forklift operation, manual handling, picking and packing, and maintaining accurate stock control processes.
Your Duties Will Include
- Operating forklifts to move pallets, stock, and materials safely throughout the warehouse
- Picking and packing mining spare parts and components of various sizes
- Loading and unloading deliveries and transport vehicles
- Conducting manual handling tasks in accordance with safe work procedures
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management activities
- Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring accuracy of shipments
- Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
- Following all workplace safety policies and procedures
What You Will Need
- Current Driver's Licence
- Current High Risk Forklift Licence (LF)
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and safe forklift operation
