Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Stores Officer / Executive to manage inventory, warehouse operations, job work coordination, scrap management, and dispatch activities. The role involves hands‑on SAP operations, compliance with EHS norms, and close coordination with production, QA, vendors, and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, conduct gate inward checks, and process GRNs in SAP (MIGO / scanning).
- Coordinate with QA by forwarding material inspection reports post‑GRN.
- Process purchase returns, generate credit memos, raise purchase return invoices, and communicate with vendors.
- Ensure FIFO issuance of materials to production.
- Monitor shelf‑life materials and maintain expiry records.
- Process daily material reservations in SAP.
- Handle monthly receipt of return materials from production.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
Returnable & Non‑Returnable Gate Pass (RGP / NRGP)
- Raise RGPs and NRGPs based on departmental requests.
- Create delivery challans in SAP.
- Maintain Excel registers for RGP and NRGP.
- Follow up with vendors for timely return of materials.
- Update SAP entries upon receipt of returned materials.
Job Work / Subcontracting
- Issue materials to job workers as per approved job work requests.
- Create subcontract/job work delivery challans in SAP and generate E‑Way bills.
- Obtain acknowledgements from job workers for dispatched materials.
- Follow up with job workers for timely material returns.
- Process GRNs for job‑worked materials and coordinate with QA for inspection.
- Reconcile job work materials in SAP and close delivery challans.
- Collect scrap from job workers and post entries in SAP, transferring to scrap locations.
Scrap Management
- Transfer scrap from production floor to scrap yard based on scrap registers.
- Maintain scrap records and Excel trackers.
- Handle documentation for hazardous and non‑hazardous waste receipt and disposal.
- Act as custodian of the scrap yard.
- Generate sales invoices and delivery challans during scrap disposal.
Warehouse Management
- Organize warehouse layout for optimal space utilization.
- Ensure safety, security, and 5S compliance in stores.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.
- Conduct monthly physical stock verification and post inventory differences in SAP.
- Prepare Aspect–Impact and HIRA registers (SCM scope).
- Issue EHS work permits (SCM scope).
- Identify CAPEX requirements for stores and coordinate with the purchase team.
- Ensure ROL, MIN, and MAX inventory levels.
- Circulate non‑moving, excess inventory, and shelf‑life reports.
- Scrapping of non‑moving and obsolete inventory as per norms.
- Supervise and train warehouse and logistics staff.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Dispatch Coordination
- Arrange materials as per dispatch plans.
- Book vehicles and ensure vehicle fitness for dispatch.
- Ensure proper loading and stacking of finished goods.
- Create STOs, scan materials, and raise invoices and E‑Way bills in SAP.
- Send dispatch intimation to branches.
- Verify freight bills and process accounting scrolls.

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in Stores, Warehouse, or SCM operations
