Job Overview: We are looking for a technically sound Store Manager to centrally oversee and manage store operations across multiple locations. The role will focus on inventory management, data analysis, reporting and system-driven store operations to ensure efficient material management and standardized processes across all sites.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in SAP-based inventory systems, data reporting and centralized store management, preferably from EPC, engineering projects, or similar technical industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Central Store Operations
- Centrally monitor and manage store operations across multiple locations.
- Ensure standardized store processes, inventory control and documentation across sites.
- Coordinate with site store teams, procurement and finance for material planning and reconciliation.
Inventory & Materials Management
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and material consumption across locations.
- Ensure effective inventory control, including maintaining optimum stock levels and minimizing stock discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate stock reconciliation and periodic inventory audits.
- Track slow-moving, non-moving and critical inventory items and recommend corrective actions.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare and analyze MIS reports related to inventory, consumption trends and stock levels.
- Support management with data insights for planning and optimization of inventory.
- Maintain accurate store records and reporting dashboards.
Systems & Process Management
- Work extensively on SAP ERP for material tracking, inventory entries and reporting.
- Ensure correct material master data and system entries.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and digitalization of store operations.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with procurement, engineering, finance, and operations teams.
- Support cross-functional teams with inventory data and material availability insights.
Experience & Qualification:
- Graduate / Postgraduate: BE / ME (Engineering preferred)
- 6–10 years of experience in store management, materials management, or inventory control.
- Experience in EPC, infrastructure, engineering projects, or manufacturing industries preferred.
- Experience handling multi-location store operations will be an advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Experience in SAP ERP (MM module preferred)
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Understanding of various reporting and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI will be good to have
- Experience with inventory management systems and MIS reporting
