Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Store Manager to manage the daily operations of the FirstCry store in Gangavathi. The role requires ownership of sales performance, team management, inventory control, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end store operations on a daily basis
- Drive sales targets and ensure consistent revenue growth
- Lead, train, and motivate store staff
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle escalations professionally
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and shrinkage
- Maintain visual merchandising and store hygiene as per FirstCry standards
- Prepare sales reports and coordinate with franchise/area management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 25 years of experience in retail store management (apparel, kidswear, FMCG, or similar preferred)
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Good communication skills in English and local language
- Experience in inventory management and billing systems
- Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving ability
- Willingness to work weekends and retail hours
Preferred
- Prior experience in kids retail or franchise-led stores
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree (not mandatory if experience is strong)
