About the Company:
Looking for a Store Keeper who can efficiently manage inventory, materials, and consumables for our fabrication unit and ensure smooth coordination between purchase, production, and dispatch departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
- Issue raw materials and consumables to production teams as per job cards and daily requirements.
- Verify quantity and quality of received materials against purchase orders.
- Manage inventory control, tagging, stacking, and safe storage of steel materials and fabricated items.
- Coordinate with purchase, design, and production teams for material requirements and timely dispatch.
- Monitor stock levels and raise indents for replenishment.
- Maintain daily stock register, gate entries, and movement reports.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile with accounts.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and systematic layout of the store area.
- Implement and maintain strong systems to control and monitor proper issue of materials and consumables.
- Handle pressure efficiently while managing a large fabrication unit with 100+ manpower.
Requirements:
- Experience: 37 years as a storekeeper in fabrication, steel, or engineering industries.
- Qualification: Diploma / Graduate (preferably mechanical background).
- Knowledge of steel structural materials and fabrication consumables (plates, sections, electrodes, gases, fasteners, etc.) is essential.
- Hands-on experience with ERP, Excel, and store management systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Honest, disciplined, and process-oriented working style.
