Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Store Head / Manager to oversee store operations at our real estate construction sites. The role involves managing inventory, ensuring proper material handling, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth construction workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage site/store inventory of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure timely receipt, inspection, storage, and issue of materials.
- Maintain accurate stock registers, GRNs, MRNs, and issue slips.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct periodic reconciliation and physical verification.
- Prepare and update daily/weekly/monthly consumption reports.
- Coordinate with purchase department, vendors, and site engineers for material requirements.
- Ensure FIFO / LIFO practices, proper stacking, and safe handling of materials.
- Implement and maintain MIS reports for management review.
- Oversee adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards in store operations.
- Prevent pilferage, wastage, and ensure accountability of materials.
- Supervise store staff and allocate responsibilities effectively.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, their specifications, and usage.
- Familiarity with ERP / Inventory Management software.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lead a team and ensure discipline in store operations.
