Job Title: STORE ASSISTANT
Location: Kondhwa Budruk,(PISOLI), Pune
Experience: 3+Years preferably in a manufacturing/engineering
setup.
Qualification : Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain / Materials Management / Commerce or relevant
field.
Salary: Up to 5.00 LPA
This is for a fast-growing Wire Rope Cable Grips manufacturing company since 1985, delivering high quality, dependable Heavy Duty Grips & related products to sectors like Oil & Gas, Wind Energy, Marine & Offshore, Mining Operations & Trench Cable Laying Companies in India & exporting to 20+ countries
As they continue to scale, so seeking an experienced Accounts Head to lead the finance and accounts function.
Key Responsibilities :-
Inventory & Stock Management
• Maintain accurate records of raw materials, components, finished goods, and
consumables in the stores.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels, raise alerts for reordering, and prevent
stockouts or overstocking.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
• Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and systematic storage of materials for easy
traceability.
Internal Stakeholder Support
• Issue materials to production, maintenance, and other departments based on approved
requisitions.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure availability of required materials for
uninterrupted operations.
Vendor & Procurement Coordination
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders (quantity, quality, and specifications).
• Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and report discrepancies to procurement/quality
teams.
Data Management & Reporting
• Maintain and update inventory records in ERP/software/manual registers as per
company standards.
• Generate and share regular reports on stock movement, consumption patterns,
material shortages, and wastages.
Compliance & Safety
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of materials in line with safety and
quality standards.
• Adhere to company policies and audit requirements related to inventory and stores
management.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
• Familiarity with ERP/Inventory Management systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
