Job Description
- Co- Ordination with Kitchen In charge, House Keeping In charge & Operation Manager.
- To manage and maintain Dry store, Liquor store, packaging material store and Cleaning & Chemical material store in terms of proper stacking, cleanliness, general upkeep, periodic pest control & follow FIFO of all material.
- To order for perishables and dairy items in the evening for next day as per kitchen requisition.
- To maintain par stocks of all items by ordering in time to :
- Minimize non-availability.
- Prevent purchases from suppliers other than approved.
- To minimize Cash purchase.
- To prepare requirement of Food, Liquor, packaging, cleaning & chemicals Store as per the pre defined par stock levels and place the orders with suppliers.
- To procure material by making cash purchases in case of emergencies with prior approval of the General Manager.
- To receive and validate the quantity and quality of all items in the presence of security personnel & concerned department in charge.
- Ensure that all bills/ challans of goods received are entered in the security Inward register, stamped by security and duly signed by the security personnel, concerned department in charge & self.
- Generate a Goods Received Note (GRN) / make entries in Stock Register of all items received the same day.
- Proper storage of items in different concerned stores so as to maintain FIFO.
- To maintain stock Registers of receipts & issues along with rate and quantity and ensure that the store doesn't stock any goods with expired date.
- Issue material to concerned departments daily as per the requisition sheets & entry of the same in the system/ register the same day.
- To keep the excise Register updated on daily basis.
- Source alternate suppliers for all items to be approved by the General Manager for either emergency or for lesser cost while maintain the standards.
- Send all bills along with the GRNs to Accounts in time.
- To make periodic statements/ reports of receiving & issuing of all material.
- To conduct & assist in periodic (weekly & monthly) physical inventory.
- To make periodic (weekly & monthly) inventory statements of all items.
- Is responsible for any shortages in the store.
- Evaluation of all issues on a monthly basis as per concurrent rates/ contractual rates or market rates paid for individual item.

Time management skills
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
- Understanding of FIFO, LIFO, stock reconciliation, and dispatch processes.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel / inventory management systems.
- Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage stock accurately.
- Experience in restaurant, hotel, QSR, or food industry stores will be preferred.
Experience & Qualification
- 1–3 years of experience in Stores / Inventory / Warehouse operations.
- Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or related field preferred.
