Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience About us At Leanwatts, we develop innovative power electronic solutions for electric mobility and energy applications through continuous research, engineering, and manufacturing. Our Designed and Made in India approach drives us to build reliable, high-performance products for the future of transportation and energy.

What is this role about

We are looking for a hands-on Store Coordinator with 1-2 years of relevant experience to support material receipts, inventory records, and logistics at Leanwatts. You will record material movements in our inventory/ERP system and coordinate timely material availability for Production and Research & Development (R&D). You will support the receipt, storage, issue, return, and dispatch of electronic components, PCBs, mechanical parts, assemblies, and consumables. The role requires accurate entries, organised stores, and regular coordination with Purchase, Quality, Production, R&D, and Finance. You will follow established procedures and escalate discrepancies or approvals to the responsible team.

What you will do at Leanwatts:

• Material Receipt & Verification: Receive materials and check item codes, part numbers, quantities, and condition against purchase orders and supplier documents. Record shortages, excess receipts, damage, and mismatches; notify Purchase and follow up on resolution.

• System Inwarding & GRNs: Create timely inward entries and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) in the inventory/ERP system. Capture batch/serial details where applicable, attach supporting documents, and maintain complete receipt records.

• Quality Coordination: Coordinate incoming inspection with Quality. Keep accepted, pending-inspection, and rejected stock clearly separated. Issue materials only after required approval and assist with supplier returns.

• Storage & Inventory Records: Label materials, maintain bin locations, and update stock records. Follow FIFO/FEFO where applicable and flag low stock, ageing stock, and excess inventory to the responsible team.

• Material Issue to Production & R&D: Pick, kit, and issue materials against approved requisitions, bills of materials (BOMs), production orders, or project requests. Record quantities and job/project references, obtain acknowledgement, and record unused material returns. Support prototype and urgent requirements in coordination with the relevant teams.

• Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Coordinate supplier pickups, courier/transporter bookings, packing, dispatch, and delivery tracking. Collect invoices, delivery challans, and applicable transport documents from the responsible teams. Follow up on delays and proof of delivery.

• Stock Verification & Reconciliation: Assist with cycle counts and periodic physical stock checks. Compare physical quantities with system balances, record discrepancies, and support investigation. Process adjustments, write-offs, and scrap movements only after required approval.

• Reporting & Store Discipline: Prepare routine updates on stock availability, shortages, pending receipts, and dispatches. Support tracking of inventory accuracy and receipt/issue timelines. Maintain orderly storage, safe handling, and daily housekeeping.

Must have requirements

• Education: Diploma or bachelor's degree in commerce, engineering, logistics, supply chain, or a related field; candidates with relevant stores experience may also be considered.

• Relevant Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing stores, inventory operations, material inwarding, or logistics coordination. Exposure to GRNs, material issues, stock checks, and supporting records is required.

• Inventory Systems: Basic working knowledge of an ERP or inventory management system for receipts, issues, returns, transfers, and stock reports, with willingness to learn Leanwatts system and procedures.

• Documentation & Excel: Ability to check purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans; maintain clear transaction records; and use Excel or Google Sheets for stock tracking and basic reconciliation.

• Production & R&D Support: Ability to identify item codes, part numbers, units of measure, and approved revisions; read basic material requisitions and BOMs; and prepare material kits. Communicate shortages promptly and obtain approval before any component substitution.

• Logistics & Material Handling: Basic understanding of pickup/dispatch coordination, packing, shipping documents, and delivery tracking. Awareness of safe storage and electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions for sensitive components, with willingness to follow training and handling instructions.

• Accuracy & Communication: Attention to detail, organised recordkeeping, clear communication, and disciplined adherence to approvals. Ability to complete routine activities, raise issues promptly, and follow up with the responsible teams.

Preferred advantages

• Industry Exposure: Experience in electronics, electrical equipment, power electronics, EV products, or engineering manufacturing. Familiarity with batch/serial tracking, barcode systems, or production kitting is an advantage.

• Audit & Improvement Support: Exposure to inventory audits, stock reconciliation, bin organisation, reorder-level tracking, or dispatch follow-up is an advantage.
