- Maintain accurate records of all materials and inventory items
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking
Store Operations
- Supervise receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials
- Ensure proper labeling and safe storage of hazardous chemicals as per regulatory standards
- Coordinate with production and procurement teams for inventory planning
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safety protocols for handling and storing chemicals
- Ensure compliance with MSDS, labeling, storage, and statutory norms
- Inspect storage facilities regularly for safety and quality standards
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain and update inventory management systems
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock and consumption reports
- Handle documentation for goods received, issued, and inter-departmental transfers
Vendor & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of raw materials and spare parts
- Liaise with logistics teams for smooth transportation and dispatch
Team Supervision
- Lead and train store personnel on inventory management and safety practices
- Assign tasks to ensure efficient store operations
