 Stores Assistant

The Stores Assistant is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the management

of stock, raw materials, consumables and ensuring smooth store operations. This role

involves physical handling , documentation and organisation of stock. The stores assistant

will work closely with senior staff to support inventory control and record-keeping

processes.

Key Responsibilities:

ü Receiving stock from suppliers, storing and issuing materials to production teams.

ü Recording stock movements and maintenance of proper documentation.

ü Physical Inspection of stock received for quantity, quality and fit as required.

ü Conductingcyclic physical counts and checks of entire stock.

ü Assisting stores incharge in making sure materials and tools are readily available for

smooth production issue.

ü Maintaining a clean, safe, organized and easy to use stores area.

Education:

Degree, Diploma or Minimum of Intermediate. Additional certifications in inventory

management or fabrication industry knowledge is a plus.

Skills :

ü Languages :Must know Telugu, Hindi and English. Should be able to speak, read and

write to interact with team membersand other departments.

ü Knowledge : Ability to identify the materials prevalent in the industry.

ü Physical Stamina: Comfortable withmoving materials in moderately active environment.

ü Attention to Detail : Ability to quickly identify and address stock issues in the store.

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in storekeeping in line of fabrication

Salary Range :

₹15,000/- to ₹20,000/- per month
