Role Description

nostringscouture is looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Store & Operations Coordinator to join our team.

This is a full-time, in-store role combining customer interaction, order management and day-to-day operations. The role involves managing the complete order journey—from appointments, measurements and fittings to vendor coordination, payments, deliveries and returns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer & Store Coordination

* Attend to customers in-store and assist them throughout their order journey

*Strong understanding of Indian occasion wear, including lehengas, anarkalis, shararas, sarees and other traditional silhouettes, with knowledge of their specific measurement, sizing and fitting requirements

* Communicate professionally with customers in person, over calls and WhatsApp

* Coordinate appointments, fittings, pickups, deliveries and returns

* Provide timely order updates and ensure a smooth customer experience

Measurements & Fittings

* Take accurate body measurements for garment sizing and alterations

* Have a working understanding of Indian garment measurements, sizing, fit and different silhouettes

* Coordinate fittings and alterations with relevant teams/vendors

* Maintain accurate customer measurement records

Order & Operations Management

* Track orders from confirmation through delivery and return

* Ensure garments are received, checked, prepared and dispatched on time

* Proactively follow up on pending orders, timelines and operational issues

* Maintain accurate order, inventory and delivery records

* Manage multiple customers and orders simultaneously

CRM & Payments

* Maintain customer details, orders, interactions and follow-ups on the CRM

* Track payments, security deposits, pending balances and refunds

* Maintain accurate and organised records using CRM and Excel/Google Sheets

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

* Prior experience in Indian fashion retail, store operations or a similar role preferred. Must have knowledge of Indian garments like Lehengas, Shararas, Anarkalis, Sarees etc

* Educational background in Fashion, Retail, Business, Commerce or Hospitality is an advantage

* Fluent in English, well-spoken and confident interacting with customers

* Good understanding of Indian garment measurements, sizing and fit and ability to take accurate measurements

* Comfortable using CRM software, Excel/Google Sheets and WhatsApp

* Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills

* Excellent attention to detail and follow-through

* Independent, proactive and comfortable taking ownership

* Able to multitask, manage priorities and resolve issues efficiently
