Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Storage Automation Engineer to manage and automate enterprise storage infrastructure within large-scale SAN environments. The role involves working with enterprise storage platforms, SAN networking, and automation tools to deliver scalable and efficient storage services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support enterprise storage platforms such as Dell PowerMax / VMAX3, XtremIO, Pure FlashArray, HPE Primera / Alletra, and Cirrus DMS.
- Administer SAN infrastructure including Cisco / Broadcom switches, Fibre Channel, and iSCSI connectivity.
- Perform server-to-storage mapping, provisioning, configuration, and storage migrations.
- Develop automation solutions using Python, Ansible, and Shell scripting to support provisioning, installation, and operational tasks.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation using tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible Tower, and Jenkins.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and develop automated test scripts for infrastructure platforms.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to deliver cloud-based infrastructure and platform services.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in enterprise storage platforms (Dell PowerMax/VMAX, XtremIO, Pure FlashArray, HPE Primera).
- Experience managing SAN environments and Fibre Channel networks.
- Knowledge of Linux (RHEL), Windows, and VMware environments.
- Hands-on experience in Python, Ansible, and Shell scripting.
- Experience with storage migrations, remediation, and infrastructure automation.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
