Storage Architect

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Storage Architect to join our

Technology Group. You will play a critical role in designing,

implementing, and maintaining enterprise storage solutions, with a focus

on modern technologies like Software-Defined Storage (SDS), cloud

storage integration, management and monitoring, and robust backup and

recovery solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal

performance, scalability, reliability, and security of our storage

environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise storage solutions.

• Evaluate and recommend new storage technologies and solutions, with a focus on cloud integration and cost optimization.

• Configure, manage, and monitor storage arrays, replication solutions, and backup systems (including cloud-based backup).

• Design and implement a comprehensive backup and recovery strategy for all critical data.

• Implement and maintain storage best practices for data protection, security, data path optimization, and disaster recovery with cloud considerations.

• Perform storage capacity planning and forecasting, ensuring adequate resources for on-premises and cloud storage.

• Troubleshoot storage-related issues and identify root causes to ensure service continuity.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest storage technologies and trends, including cloud storage advancements; define POC items and software accelerators.

• Contribute to pre-sales activity.

Qualifications Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in storage technologies.

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing storage solutions (including SDS). Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of storage technologies including RAID, storage virtualization, replication, backup, and cloud storage integration.

• Experience with storage protocols such as FC, iSCSI, NFS, and cloud storage APIs (S3).

• Experience with programming languages: C, C++, Java.

• Experience with storage performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools (preferred). Soft Skills
