Job Description

Job Summary:

As the Storage & Server - Capacity Management Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a vital role in analyzing, planning, and optimizing enterprise storage and server infrastructure. Your responsibilities include ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability while effectively managing capacity planning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Capacity Management of Unix server, storage

- Analyze usage trends and forecast future capacity needs.

- Develop and maintain capacity models and dashboards.

- Prepare MIS data & presentations for management and regulatory requirements.

- Monitoring & Reporting:

- Utilize tools like Grafana, Nagios, SolarWinds, or Zabbix for infrastructure monitoring.

- Generate regular reports on system performance and capacity metrics.

- Security & Compliance:

- Ensure data integrity and security across all storage and server platforms.

- Follow ITIL and ISO standards for change and incident management.

Qualifications: B.tech/ M.tech /MCA

Experience: 4 to 8 Years

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in knowledge of storage/Database/Unix/ windows.
  • Collaborate with application and business teams to understand growth patterns.
  • Review/Prepare MIS data & preparation presentations for submitting to management, strategy /steering committees & regulatory requirements.
  • Publish Dashboard on Projects pertaining to Capacity, Tech Upgrades, Obsolescence and also on Review Status
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, Power BI for automation.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and capacity planning methodologies.
