Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled
Storage Administrator with hands-on experience in
NetApp, EMC, or Pure Storage systems to provide
end-user support, troubleshoot storage issues, and manage data in a 247 production environment. The role requires collaboration with technical teams to maintain and improve storage infrastructure, ensure data availability, and perform backups and archival tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support NetApp, EMC, or Pure Storage environments.
- Troubleshoot NFS issues, mount problems, access permissions, and backup failures.
- Provide end-user support for storage and related services in a 247 production environment.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to resolve problems and evolve technology.
- Schedule, prioritize, and support storage activities while communicating actions and results.
- Respond to alerts, report issues, escalate critical problems, and exercise independent judgment.
- Perform data cleanup, disk permissions changes, and ownership/group modifications.
- Execute data backup, archival, and restoration as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and processes.
- Support mission-critical storage and data protection solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in storage administration.
- Hands-on experience with NetApp, EMC, or Pure Storage solutions.
- Strong knowledge of NFS troubleshooting, mount issues, disk permissions, and access controls.
- Experience supporting mission-critical storage environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in rotational or permanent shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams.
- Experience with backup, archival, and data protection solutions.
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
