Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile Backup and Storage Admin with Level 3 experience primarily in CommVault along with expertise in Pure Storage NetApp including Cloud Volumes ONTAP and Azure Storage The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of data backup storage solutions and data security ensuring the integrity and availability of our data infrastructure

Responsibilities

Oversee the design and management of CommVault backup infrastructure ensuring efficient configuration of backups to both local and cloud storage and conducting regular backup audits to maintain data integrity

Implement and manage CommVault HyperScale X HCX for scalable secure hybrid cloud storage focusing on high performance backup and recovery and integrating builtin ransomware protection

Lead the design and implementation of Pure Storage solutions providing technical direction and recommendations and supporting daily operations through thorough configuration reviews

Administer and maintain file share systems and Storage Area Networks SANs enforcing security policies and performing regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal performance

Optimize cloud storage infrastructure with NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP CVO enhancing data protection security and compliance and managing data replication and tiering processes

Manage Varonis data security solutions conducting research and remediation of policy violations coordinating remediation efforts and producing regular reports on data security status

Provision configure and monitor Azure storage accounts implementing robust security measures managing access controls and ensuring regular backups and disaster recovery strategies are in place

Demonstrate knowledge of SAN zoning using tools like SANNAV ensuring efficient and secure configuration and management of SAN environments

Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across storage and backup systems ensuring compliance with security standards and protecting against potential threats

Qualifications

Level 3 experience primarily in CommVault with additional expertise in Pure Storage NetApp including CVO Varonis and Azure Storage solutions

Proficiency in configuring backups to local and cloud storage

Strong understanding of SANs file share systems and storage security policies

Excellent problemsolving analytical and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Relevant certifications in CommVault Pure Storage NetApp Varonis and Azure are desirable

This role requires a proactive individual who can seamlessly integrate various data protection and storage technologies to ensure robust data management and security
