Job Title: Professional Services Engineer

Location: Bengaluru, KA

Job Summary

We are seeking NetApp Storage Administrators with 3+ years of hands-on experience in NetApp ONTAP administration, troubleshooting, and storage management. The ideal candidate should be available for immediate joining and possess strong technical, communication, and customer-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, administer, and support NetApp Storage environments (ONTAP/CDOT)
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve storage performance and availability issues.
  • Perform firmware and operating system upgrades on storage infrastructure.
  • Manage storage provisioning, snapshots, cloning, deduplication, replication, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Configure and support SnapMirror, IntelliSnap, controller failover, and backup integrations.
  • Utilize NetApp management tools including OnCommand Unified Manager, Performance Manager, and Insight.
  • Support storage protocols including CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel environments.
  • Participate in incident, problem, change, and configuration management processes following ITIL practices.
  • Assist with DR planning, DR testing, backup validation, and recovery procedures.
  • Collaborate with compute, virtualization, networking, and application teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Maintain operational documentation and provide timely customer communication.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+years of experience in NetApp Storage Administration and Support.
  • Strong knowledge of NetApp ONTAP/CDOT environments.
  • Experience with storage technologies including Snapshots, SnapMirror, Cloning, Deduplication, and Replication.
  • Understanding of storage protocols: CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel.
  • Knowledge of VMware vSphere, Microsoft Windows Server environments, and networking fundamentals
  • Experience in Linux System Administration.
  • Familiarity with SAN, WAN, backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery platforms.
  • Understanding of security hardening, performance tuning, and infrastructure best practices.
  • Exposure to managed services and outsourced support environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer service orientation.

Preferred Qualifications.

  • ITIL Foundation Certifications.
  • Experience supporting 24x7 enterprise production environments.
  • Knowledge of Cisco networking and virtualization technologies.

Work Schedule

  • 24x7x365 support environments.
  • Two weekly off days, which may be - Two mid-week days or One weekday and one weekend day.
  • Hybrid work model with mandatory office presence three days per week in Bangalore.
