We are looking for a skilled Storage & SAN Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining enterprise storage systems and SAN switches to ensure stability, performance, and availability across all data center environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage enterprise storage systems (HP, Dell, EMC, NetApp) and SAN switches (Brocade, Cisco MDS).
- Monitor and administer storage pools, volumes, LUNs, NFS/CIFS, and replication setups.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot storage and SAN infrastructure.
- Perform LUN/volume creation, expansion, mapping, host allocation/deallocation.
- Manage storage replication and maintain high availability (99.9%) across DC, DR, and remote sites.
- Analyze storage event logs and maintain firmware/microcode updates.
- Handle SAN zoning, switch configuration, and availability monitoring.
- Coordinate with OEMs for hardware failures or other system-related issues.
- Generate performance and capacity reports for storage and SAN systems.
- Manage incidents and requests related to storage infrastructure.
- Conduct capacity planning based on current usage and forecasted needs.
