About the role

Stock Bazaar is our premium market data platform, providing stock market data, research, analytics and digital subscription services. As an intern you'll work alongside the product and research teams, tracking the markets daily and helping ensure the data our subscribers rely on is accurate and timely.

Responsibilities

• Track daily market movements across indices, sectors and key stocks
  
• Collect, clean and validate market data from exchanges and public sources
  
• Assist in preparing research notes, market summaries and sector reports
  
• Cross-check data displayed on the platform and flag discrepancies
  
• Support the team with competitor and industry tracking
  
• Help build and maintain internal datasets and trackers in Excel or Google Sheets
  

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business or a related field
  
• Working understanding of equity markets — indices, sectors, basic valuation terms
  
• Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, lookups, pivot tables)
  
• Strong attention to detail — this role is about accuracy above speed
  
• Ability to read a chart and explain what it shows in plain language
  
• Available to start immediately
  

Good to have

• NISM or NCFM certification
  
• Familiarity with TradingView, Screener.in, NSE/BSE data portals
  
• Interest in fintech and market data products
